  Knox's Church, Arbroath

Keeper of Communion Roll:
Margaret Sim

I was christened in Knox’s in 1941, and from there gradually went through the Sunday school, bible class, and became a Sunday school teacher along with singing in the choir. I have been an elder since 1984 and took the position as roll keeper in 2001. The eldership includes looking after a district of members and being involved in the running of the church, of which there are many avenues. I am a third generation Knox’s family. My grandfather and father both being long service elders of which I am very proud. I have two sons and one daughter. My eldest son is a detective sergeant in the met police force, my younger son is an engineer in the oil industry and my daughter is a senior staff nurse. My hobbies are singing, bowling and dog walking. I was a hairdresser for 49 years and still dabble!
