20th March - Songs of Praise and discussion of the Guild Topic with guest speaker Mrs Thelma Robb

The Guild year 2011/2012 starts on Tuesday 27th September. This will be Registration night followed by a Beetle Drive. We have quite a varied and interesting syllabus consisting in October of a talk on the Language of Flowers on the 11th and a demonstration from “the Bag Lady” on the 25th. In November we are guests at the Old & Abbey Church Guild on the 8th for a talk by Ian Taylor, Auctioneer; followed by our St Andrew’s celebration on the 22nd when we will be entertained by Wilma Ewart, Shona Kemp and friends. Guild Week starts on 26th November when we usually have a fund raising event (to be arranged). Into December (how the year flies!) we will have our Christmas night out on the 6th at Tutties then our Christmas Carol Evening on the 20th.
We are a happy, friendly group of people who would be delighted to swell our numbers. Therefore we look forward to meeting all our regular members along with hopefully lots of new ones – gentlemen as well as ladies!
